Currently in Art IB, my love for fine arts extends into the niche of drawing, water colouring, acrylics, and different forms of multimedia art. I am grateful to announce that I will be a part of the UUACalgary executive team as the Director of Operations, and am very excited to pave the path to making a lasting change in Calgary’s demographics alongside such an amazing and talented team. Veronica Cheon
Director of Marketing
Hi all :) My name is Veronica, and like all the other members of this amazing team, I too, am in grade 11. I attend Henry Wise Wood Senior High School, and am currently part of the IB Diploma Programme there. As for arts, I have been playing piano and violin since I was four years old, and plan to complete RCM 10 this year. I have also had the privilege to be a part of my school’s concert and jazz band, playing the alto sax and piano respectively. Unlike all asian stereotypes however, I do pursue other forms of art, other than music (surprising, I know) such as debate, which I have been passionate about since the sixth grade. I have competed in numerous competitions, from local debating unions, to regional rosters. Speech in its uttermost form of great art has always intrigued me, and thus I am proud to be the Director of Marketing for Calgary’s chapter of United Under Arts.
